      Pros

      Onboarding staff was great, my current manager is fantastic, offices included, billing team is on it.

      Cons

      Too much competition of therapists so caseloads are not full, I see a ton of therapists with many hours of no clients in office. Onboarding felt incomplete, especially around EHR system. They ask you to do too much front desk/scheduling work, it feels off for clients who are used to clinics making those calls. Have to pay for CEUs and career advancement, supervision if an associate. Associates don’t tend to get enough clinical support, unless they hire a weekly supervisor which is costly. No benefits.

      Pros

      Super transparent about the entire process including costs, caseload ramp up, Mindful expectations and limitations right from the beginning! I have never felt pressured, micromanaged or taken advantage of in any way and in fact it is the opposite! I’ve felt like I have so much support, excellent supervision opportunities and got paid faster than expected too! ;) Every single human I’ve interacted with who is affiliated with MTG has been genuinely lovely. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to partner with MTG and find better work/life balance!

      Cons

      Not really a “con” for MTG but just private practice for an associate in general is to be prepared for a lower take home percentage until you are fully licensed. TRUST ME though, what you are “paying” is so worth it for the support you get.
