Pros

Non upper management employees and providers are great to work with.

Cons

Poor communication between upper management, blame shifting and managers throwing people under the bus is common, emotional badgering and dishonesty about promotion everyone to be themselves. Would send multiple messages about focuses of company and then tell you something completely different. Pretend to understand and be flexible with life scheduling only to lie to you about said flexibility.

Thank you for your candid feedback. You bring up a few points in here that I would like to address, and share some of my thoughts on: You are correct that it’s not easy to pinpoint the exact moves that we need to make to continue to be one of the premier mental health providers in the Greater Seattle area. We are a small company making the leap to more medium sized, thus we are approaching new challenges every day that impact our growing team. We don’t have all the answers, and we don’t pretend to either. With having a small management team, we all wear many different hats and have to shift our focuses many times throughout the day. This especially applies when we realize the direction we are heading with a project is ultimately not going to benefit our team or Mindful Therapy Group as a whole. You mention poor communication between members of our upper management team, to which I have to humbly disagree. Our entire team is in constant communication, and information that is important and impacts the team is shared in a very timely fashion. That being said, communications between our upper management team members is not something that everyone is (or should be) privy too. I can say from personal experience that this company is very interested in growing its individuals and developing their talent. We are a close knit team that honors open communication. We are willing to work around our employee’s lives and extenuating circumstances on a by-case basis, more so than any other company that I have worked for. We wish you luck in your career.

Pros

Super transparent about the entire process including costs, caseload ramp up, Mindful expectations and limitations right from the beginning! I have never felt pressured, micromanaged or taken advantage of in any way and in fact it is the opposite! I’ve felt like I have so much support, excellent supervision opportunities and got paid faster than expected too! ;) Every single human I’ve interacted with who is affiliated with MTG has been genuinely lovely. I’m so thankful for the opportunity to partner with MTG and find better work/life balance!

Cons

Not really a “con” for MTG but just private practice for an associate in general is to be prepared for a lower take home percentage until you are fully licensed. TRUST ME though, what you are “paying” is so worth it for the support you get.
