Pros
The only pro of Mirakl was the fact that I worked with some very bright, friendly folks with exception of the "clowns" they call managers (who BTW way have zero corporate experience or any peoples skills).
Cons
- As you can also see in one of the replies to previous reviews left by others (The PS section of the HR response to the review), Mirakl tends to get very "catty" and unprofessional. Afterall, who/what company in US corporate culture replies with a reference to Game of Thrones and drama on a public website? Judgment is to the reader! Advice to Mirakl: Please try to keep it professional, for your own already damaged brand. - Mirakl will bring you in, work you to death, and 3 months later complain about the salary you mutually agreed on. They actually did this to one of my colleagues. Unless you agree to a salary adjustment, they will come for you. They will threaten you, and target you intentionally and even put you in Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs), to open the way to termination. All this despite stellar reviews by your manager. Because the CEO's family friend-became-"executive" decided she does not like you. Advice to Mirakl: The word "executive" means nothing in a start-up of 40 people. And you should definitely not have 15 of those titles given to highly incompetent catty individuals. - Favorism: I have seen associates taking on 12-13 clients and work 70-80 hour work weeks including multiple cross-country business/work trips. And I have seen incompetent associates who have one barely successful client. You can imagine the workers' surprise and dismay when they get to hear the latter gets promoted. Summary: I would not recommend anybody to join this firm. The HR is absolutely not in control of anything happening in this firm. It is one or two very unprofessional individuals that are making daily and quite irrational decisions. I have seen 15 people getting up and leave in just one year. In a company of 40-45... You figure the rest!
