The senior “leadership” team is a massive con that creates a cascade of other cons. They operate completely disconnected from the business which perpetuates siloes. They don’t take ownership of their own poor decisions or failures (it’s always someone else’s fault and then they just lay them off). Their actions show they don’t value employees and treat us like workhorses instead of humans. They make short sighted decisions that lead to having another round of layoffs (we have had 4 this year). They are not visible and don’t take part in any company programs (like virtual events, ERGs, trainings). They barely communicate to the organization (we only see SLT in a monthly “All Hands” that just a Q&A). They say one thing and do another (like putting a pause on promotions yet turning around and still promoting their favorites). They don’t acknowledge or take any action on company feedback surveys. They don’t actually LEAD their departments or cultivate collaboration across the company. I could go on.
I used to love it here, but things have gone down hill very rapidly with a senior leadership team like this. Sadly there is no accountability on them and pressure on everyone else.
