Pros

Free parking, nice office space

Cons

The number of talented folks departing this organization is staggering; those who remain are undoubtedly looking for roles elsewhere. The senior leadership that contributed to a positive work environment has left over the past few years, resulting in a noticeable decline in the organizational culture. The COO has fostered a negative atmosphere, leading to a focus on self-preservation activities among the team. The leadership has engaged in dishonest behaviors and criticism targeted at individuals, without facing repercussions. It is unfortunate to witness the rapid decline of what was once a thriving and engaging workplace, driven by the inadequate leadership of one person.

Pros

There are a lot of great people to work with here. Everyone is supportive, genuinely cares about your success, and wants to help you grow. The benefits are pretty great too.

Cons

The organization is frequently understaffed, resulting in employees taking on multiple responsibilities beyond their original job scope without corresponding compensation. As staffing levels have been reduced, much of the workload has been redistributed to remaining employees, contributing to burnout and high turnover. There is a tendency to continually delegate additional tasks without a clear understanding of employees’ existing workloads or responsibilities. In some cases, roles have expanded significantly beyond their original purpose, with increased responsibilities added despite no meaningful adjustment in title, pay, or career progression opportunities. Communication from management can be inconsistent, leading to misunderstandings and confusion. The culture is largely top-down, with limited opportunities for employee input. Overall, workload expectations, lack of advancement opportunities, and communication challenges contribute to employee dissatisfaction and turnover.
