Applications suffered immensely due to rights (DRM), license, blackout, and many other restrictions from the content providers (biggest complaint by far from the end users with the crappy content, pricing structure, restrictions... all dictated by the content people outside of the company). Sub-par salaries, pivoting strategy too many times, poor planning and execution missed several windows of opportunity, not enough upwards career mobility while I was there, too much emphasis on platform with little regard to effective mobile clients (making for poor showcases to potential customers).
