Pros

Monument Health is making an effort to become a better place to work. Some pros: Being a salaried employee came with benefits, including more flexible time for appointments if needed. Working from home was possible when necessary.

Cons

It was in my experience that some directors were promoted beyond their competence. Even in non-clinical settings, staffing was short. The organization makes an effort to be lean beyond reason, impacting employee morale and longevity. The department I worked in turned over several times in a period of several years. I believe this to be a result of poor organizational investment in employees, but also due to a director with a lack of consideration for those they managed. Employees in my department did not feel supported, recognized, or safe to share honest feedback.

Pros

In my time with Monument Health my career has progressed tremendously and my leaders remain committed to ensuring I have access to courses/programs that continue to strengthen my skills. It's amazing to know that the organization is committed to supporting individual growth in both clinical and non-clinical/support roles.

Cons

Nothing specific at this time.

Pros

Serve community Some leaders in certain areas are great, it depends on the department. Some benefits are good The coworkers are unmatched, amazing people

Cons

Pay is not appropriate to experience. Don’t retain or try to retain long term staff, pay often is behind new employees being hired.
