This is the most toxic place I have ever worked. If you are a woman or a POC, do not go here. Being a white frat boy is rewarded and as a result, management is inexperienced and short sited. This is true both on the editorial and business side. Layoffs disproportionately impacted black female employees and decisions were made based on who the COO and CEO liked, vs tangible accomplishments. Additionally, they change the structure and product offerings almost quarterly. There is not a consistent strategy across the board. It's a shame that a once vibrant company culture was needlessly destroyed by selfish inexperience. There was a big focus on monitoring email volume for sales people, vs actually bringing in quality business or leads.
