Pros

Most of the people are very nice. They try to provide a fun atmosphere for the most part.

Cons

If you aren't a software developer, look elsewhere. You won't get any respect at this company if you aren't one. Management doesn't seem to know what they're doing. They laughably use the term Leadership, which there is none of. One whole side of the office is filled with Executives, a bunch of men having daily ego battles. One in particular is very difficult, demanding and arrogant. Did I mention he's a mysogynist?

Pros

The company is constantly striving to provide a fun work environment for employees and that gives it a positive, happy vibe. There are regular outings and events (trivia, shooting range, community service) as well as cookouts and other festivities. It is a big, open office environment and everyone is friendly. There is a massage therapist in the office once a week.

Cons

There is some confusion in the organizational structure and some roles in the organization that may be improperly filled. Although, this is common in every company.

Pros

For the most part, Mosaik still has a great small company/family atmosphere. The employees are great to work with, and quickly become more than just co-workers. Mosaik has a solid benefits package for a company its size. Solid insurance, 401K, and a good PTO policy. PTO can be a little tight the first year, but things definitely get better after that. Mosaik is a good place for people starting their careers in GIS, Information Technology, or Software Development. Because Mosaik strives to embrace the latest technologies whenever it is beneficial to business, it is also a great place to hone your skills and build a solid resume. The pay is below industry standards for some jobs, but is still enticing enough for those in the beginnings of their careers.

Cons

Mosaik has the same problem many companies similar in size and age have. It is trying to break out of that "startup" image. Along the way, the executive management has become somewhat disconnected from the rest of the work force. If you are not on the side of the building where the executives work, it can quickly start to feel like you are the red headed stepchild. This is unfortunate, because you will be hard pressed to find a group of people who are rooting as hard for their company to succeed as these. It also quickly becomes evident that the Software Development team enjoys a "most favored nation" status with the executives. This leads to resentment of a group of people who have no clue as to why they are resented.
