Pros

They were kind enough to buy us lunch from time to time.

Cons

The head of marketing micromanages to the point that she looks over your shoulder while you work. Marketing management also uses belittling language in feedback communicated in group settings, so employees are humiliated in front of their peers. Plus, they don't believe in work/life balance; employees stay late each evening and are required to staff events outside of their 9 A.M. - 5 P.M. schedule, even on the weekends.

Pros

The people are by far Mountainside’s greatest asset — from executive leadership to management, and across both clinical and non-clinical teams. Leadership is approachable and accessible, and there’s a real culture of collaboration, camaraderie, and transparency. You can always get your questions answered if you take the initiative, and you truly feel valued and seen as a person, not just an employee. We save lives every day, so knowing you’re contributing to someone’s recovery and the greater good makes the work incredibly meaningful. It’s inspiring to be part of something so impactful. The benefits, perks, and quarterly recognition programs are solid, and there’s a clear path for growth. Mountainside invests in its people through additional training opportunities and L&D stipends, giving employees the tools to develop their skills and advance their careers. When emergencies or personal challenges arise, MTC is flexible and supportive, working with you to find solutions that meet your needs. With such strong leadership, supportive teams, and opportunities for growth, this is a place where you can see a future and build a meaningful career. I enjoy coming to work every day and would encourage others to explore opportunities here!

Cons

- Communications between departments could be more streamlined - Fast-paced and demanding roles are necessary, and when turnover is high this can be challenge

Pros

There were no real pros. The only relief was being able to leave without resistance, and even that speaks volumes. Nothing about this place was worth staying for.

Cons

- Workloads were brutal and endlessly piled on employees. - Pay was insulting, showing complete disregard for talent, effort, and human worth. - Promotions were handed out to favorites instead of capable workers, proving that bias ruled over fairness. - The atmosphere was poisoned by arrogance and unethical practices. - Employees were treated as disposable, with zero respect or appreciation for what they contributed. - Morale was destroyed by constant unfairness and hypocrisy.
