Cons
Focus is almost solely on KPI-driven performance management and there’s always a sense of how easily you can and will be replaced. Some of the managers can be "direct" to the point of being rude and/or unprofessional. They will also smile to to an your face and tell you that everything is fine while ridiculing the you to others or throwing you under the bus to avoid blame. You are expected to be ready take on additional responsibilities or be moved between projects/workflows with little warning and without complaint, and they will never offer increases to off-set your increased workload. No meaningful pay increases or incentives and favoritism comes into play significantly with any promotion opportunities.
