Pros

Training program looks good on paper. Easy job to get at entry level. Get paid to live abroad for six months.

Cons

Mu sigma is not invested in you or your career. New hires are there to bear the majority of the workload, not to learn. The training program is, at best, a glorified cliff notes version of what could be extremely useful tools for all walks of consulting. There are no real standards in curriculum and evaluations are purely subjective. New hires are largely unqualified for this line of work and come out of training with little more than anecdotal knowledge of coding and analytics. Clients regularly complain about poor quality of work from juniors. Employee turnover rate is absurdly high. Zero work/life balance. Substandard compensation.

Pros

You get global and US experience

Cons

It's not worth to stay so long in Mu Sigma anymore. It's not what it used to be, good leaders have left and there is nobody to learn from. Mu Sigma is living in the past, and every other competitor has moved on.
