A good experience, but not for long term growth. - Junior Associate Mu Sigma Employee Review

Pros

As a Junior Associate, you gain a lot of personal growth. I had the opportunity to live and work in another country (by far the most valuable part of my time with the company) and I received recognition as I was given large responsibility over my specific client and work stream - however, this is a craps shoot as you basically have no say in where you end up after the program ends.

Cons

There is high attrition and fragmentation within the company. Leadership does not seem to understand how a true consulting firm works as Mu Sigma often over promises and under delivers. Additionally, there is a huge income disparity between the US employees and India employees, leading to a lot of discomfort.

Pros

You get global and US experience

Cons

It's not worth to stay so long in Mu Sigma anymore. It's not what it used to be, good leaders have left and there is nobody to learn from. Mu Sigma is living in the past, and every other competitor has moved on.
