The people that you work with every day are supportive, encouraging, and engaging. You will enjoy your position at MPW more because the people are great.

Cons

The company is only located in one place which makes it hard if you are focused on being in one place geographically.

Pros

Enriching learning experience. Director of Legal & Reg. is a wonderful mentor. MPW has great leadership with a congenial workplace that is professional, but not intimidating. Management is responsive to reasonable requests and accommodations. Overall great place where even an intern feels appreciated.

Cons

No real room for advancement in legal. 45 min commute from Iowa City (but worth it IMO). May set unreal expectations for future workplaces. Not much diversity in executive/leadership, but there seems a willingness to change that.
