Strict regulations (this is a pro and con depending) Some positions work a lot of overtime (again pro and con) Can be on call for after hour issues (again pro and con)

Pros

Enriching learning experience. Director of Legal & Reg. is a wonderful mentor. MPW has great leadership with a congenial workplace that is professional, but not intimidating. Management is responsive to reasonable requests and accommodations. Overall great place where even an intern feels appreciated.

Cons

No real room for advancement in legal. 45 min commute from Iowa City (but worth it IMO). May set unreal expectations for future workplaces. Not much diversity in executive/leadership, but there seems a willingness to change that.
