Pros
As someone with 15+ years of perspective I️ have participated in every aspect of the business. I️ can say unequivocally that RCG represents the very best in Strategic Consulting and Technology Implementation / Sustainment firms. Innovation is a constant for all solution and service offerings and Delivery Excellence for clients is a core principle held above all others. This is a firm that says what it does and does what it says. The firm is large enough to have depth and scale, yet agile and nimble enough to custom tailor delivery services. RCG’s tag line is “There will be no surprises”. The firm offers clients complete transparency and collaboration throughout all aspects of pursuits and delivery. RCG is technology agnostic and consistently leveraging emerging technologies to deliver business value quickly and in a cost effective manner. RCG challenges its consultants to constantly be learning and growing their cadre of skills and experience. This is not the place for mediocre practitioners. Those that are top performers will excel and be rewarded. Those that simply go through the motions will be shown the door. As the saying goes, “you get out of life what you put into it”. The average tenure for consultants within the industry is 1-2 years. At RCG, the average tenure of its consultants is 8-10 years. I️ think that speaks volumes. You can bet that virtually all former employees that have posted negative reviews were poor performers vs. their peers. To those who say they were “dumped” or “abruptly let go” - ask yourself this: Do you really think that would have happened if you were any good, much less a top performer?
Cons
Cross region collaboration while good, should be increased. With 4+ decades of experience and industry specific expertise, the marketing message should have a broader reach and illustrate the outstanding work RCG has been delivering to the hundreds of clients it has been serving for many years.
