It's a stressful environment. Filipino counterparts in the US put the blame on Manila team when something goes wrong, even if the mistake has been theirs to begin with, so that they can hide their incompetency from the Americans. Those kind of Filipinos still practices crab mentality. Also, I'm not sure if they are trying to imitate the Americans at a workplace, speaking of ill/derogatory words especially when everybody else can hear/see/read it while they are doing it, to a colleague. It's demotivating, and that behavior is unprofessional and a traditional way to lead a person/team. You'll end up burnt out not just because of several overloads of monotonous jobs, but also of people who act like that. What's most painful is that they are your compatriots. Also HR/Management/Supervisors are unconcerned about the development of your career. The company makes it too obvious that they are just after making money for themselves, and not helping employees to personal and career development who have helped them become profitable through years.
