Pros
9% of the people working at NAVEX—and the new hires brought onboard—are exceptional individuals: team players who are keen to do great work and collaborate effectively. The benefits are strong, especially the life-leave program that offers fully paid time off for major life events. Pay transparency is also a big plus.
Cons
People were “the ones” to take care of—where culture was the pride point of the entire organization, and the reason why many stayed despite it being well known that the pay is less-than-great. Recent changes in executive leadership have shifted focus away from this people-first approach—so far as to put employees beneath the floor of their "strategy", creating a results are all that we need environment. The company is also struggling to find its direction, with products that are clearly in need of optimization. Meanwhile, sales training refuses to evolve or listen to feedback, sticking to a rigid approach that’s no longer effective—despite targets being consistently missed and talent continuing to churn.
