      - Low turnover (Hard to get promoted) - Salaries are not as high as some similar places. - Florida + Suburbs - Workers comp is a niche environment for actuaries

      Pros

      Free food and the ability to work remotely.

      Cons

      Pay. Most companies in the area pay 20-30% more than NCCI does. These "competitive" salaries are a bit of a joke and a stretch. Do not expect to get paid fairly unless you reach manager level which could take you 10-20 years to get to if you're lucky.
