Pros

- You work with some awesome people! - Office space is beautiful

Cons

- Work every weekend and from 8 am to 6:30 pm or expect to not do well - Managers just want numbers, expect 4 emails a day to remind you where you need to be before you leave for the day - The worst part of NCSA is how skewed their success rate is. Honestly we help some kids yes but the kids who sign in once and commit to their local Junior College... Did we really help them? Why are we taking credit for this as a success story?

Thank you for taking the time to submit a review. I’m happy to see you enjoyed the “who” and “where” aspects of your job, and I agree we get to work with some pretty amazing teammates at NCSA. I’m sorry to hear that you weren’t as happy with the “what” aspect of your job. Being a Senior Recruiting Coordinator, you know our sales team is measured by a variety of specific KPIs, and I’m sorry you felt you were reminded too many times about your goals each day. Also, we do allow our inside sales team to work weekends as you mentioned, but by no means is this the expectation. Our Recruiting Coordinators (RC) are expected to work a somewhat flexible schedule that involves working M-F from approx. 9-6pm with an hour lunch, plus optional overtime on the weekends. Many Recruiting Coordinators exceed their goals with little or no weekend hours. The average RC works between 40-45 hours per week. As for success rates, NCSA firmly stands by all reported success metrics. We appreciate your feedback and hope you found a better fit in your new position.

The people are the secret sauce of NCSA - it's a great team that wants win, innovate, and grow together. Lots of opportunities to provide feedback and connect with leadership.

Cons

The work can be challenging and very demanding.

Pros

- Work from home - Get to talk about sports every day, and getting to learn about new sports - Manager was awesome, but I may have been lucky - I heard bad things about other managers! - There are about 10 teams of Recruiting Coordinators, all performing the same role, and each team being managed differently. Not sure if this is a pro or con

Cons

- Making around 100 calls/day - Leads are technically not cold, but they might as well be - lots of families didn't realize what they were signing up for - Over half of the leads in my funnel every day were recycled, i.e. we have called them in the past and they were not interested. Sometimes leads were recycled upwards of 10 times - Making phone calls from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm local time - often calling families at 7 -8 pm their time - Will likely be flagged if you go more than 20 minutes without making a call unless communicating with your manager
