Sub-Par Benefits - You are put on an island with no upward mobility. The only opportunity you have is moving out of state. Most people in upper management have been there for years. - You will feel excited and will work hard the first year or two until you realize your effort isn’t even worth a 2% raise if you get one at all. - Most feedback is about how you need to do better with brief moments of recognition on weekly calls that don’t highlight you directly. - If your call out system fails and you can’t find coverage you could end up working 16-24 hours straight. They will tell you to hire, and sometimes hire part time roles for 1 day/8 hours because a full time role will open up meaning people don’t stay long. - Property Managers(clients) recognize only the bad rather than the good the team does. Very seldom are their property managers that treat the team well. - You may be told to be available on vacation. Meaning you took PTO but will be told to take calls. - This job will sustain you for 1-2 years until it breaks you mentally and they demote you. Mainly because nobody really expressed care for you, just that you don’t mess up. - The company doesn’t pay the team members that really care well enough to keep them. It’s not the company’s fault, it’s the market. The contracts and property managers are cheap which puts NFC in a bind. They ask for luxury and pay is only good for section 8. - Nobody will recognize your birthday, or your work anniversary. You also have to ask for raises. - There are no structured reviews. You could do a million things right and one bad thing could keep you from getting ahead.
