Pros

the maternity navigators and NPs genuinely are passionate about maternal health.

Cons

where do I begin. This company will not exist in the next 2 years. And that’s a generous number- realistically it likely won’t exist in the next 6 months with how quickly employees are leaving due to leadership. At its peak, there was 50 employees, there have been multiple mass exits by staff and now the company has around or less than 20 employees. Upper management have NO experience running a company. This company is driven by ego and emotions, not by metrics and actually wanting to make a change. The CEO and everyone who supports him should genuinely be embarrassed.

Pros

The work culture is amazing and inclusive. I felt like a part of the team from day one. The onboarding process was the smoothest I've ever experienced. It is a fast-paced environment, but communication is clear. Problems get solved quickly. Leadership is supportive and gives clear expectations. While we work remotely, we still have frequent communication with team members across the company. This team is deeply invested in the mission and that is palpable throughout the company from top to bottom. I appreciate the trust that leadership has in us to function in our roles with a considerable amount of autonomy. But there is always support when needed. Work-life balance is great.

Cons

This is a startup. So the team is small, and the work requires flexibility to accomplish goals. It's fast-paced and requires that you adjust quickly when changes occur. The company is growing quickly and it can seem overwhelming at times.

Pros

There has been a conscious effort from leadership to improve the company culture. It has transitioned into a highly collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking environment from last year. Nadia Care has fostered an inclusive atmosphere where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and valued and I feel like I can bring my authentic self to work every day.

Cons

Typical early stage start-up pains. Because the cultural shifts and improvements have been so significant, some internal processes and systems are still catching up to the new pace of growth. With so many positive initiatives being rolled out, it can occasionally feel like a lot to keep up with, though it is absolutely a step in the right direction.
