Pros

Opportunities to learn the industry.

Cons

While the company has strong potential and was built with a solid vision by the owner, there are significant cultural and leadership concerns that prospective employees should carefully consider. There is a noticeable culture of favoritism toward certain “relatives” and “friends” within leadership. Advancement, accountability, and opportunities often appear to depend more on personal relationships than performance. Those considered “in the circle” are given greater flexibility when mistakes occur, while others are quickly labeled as incompetent for similar missteps. This inconsistency creates frustration and undermines morale. Gossip is widespread throughout the organization, and unfortunately, leadership participates in it. This fosters an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment where trust is limited. Leadership dynamics often resemble an exclusive social group, making it difficult for outsiders to feel welcomed, supported, or included. There are also ongoing concerns about fairness and equity in how employees are treated, with some believing that race plays a role in opportunities and evaluation. For minorities especially, workplace dynamics may feel particularly challenging to navigate. Internal politics are prevalent. Some leaders openly criticize upper management in front of staff, contributing to division rather than unity. There is a competitive atmosphere where individuals sometimes undermine one another in order to advance. The sales team, in particular, lacks professionalism. There have been multiple reports of sales representatives appearing intoxicated during client site visits and evening events, raising serious concerns about company standards and client relationships. In at least one case, an individual’s behavior appears to be tolerated due to close personal ties within the inner circle, further reinforcing perceptions of favoritism. Additionally, the company closely monitors online reviews. Responses are often discussed internally in group emails and reviewed by individuals with close ties to leadership. Employees have been encouraged to post positive reviews, which may not fully reflect the broader employee experience. Overall, while the company has a strong foundation, the current culture of favoritism, internal politics, inconsistent accountability, and lack of professionalism make it a challenging environment for those who are not part of the inner circle.

Pros

Pay is ok, benefits are ok

Cons

Management is over bearing, the work is meaningless and pointless, the company seems to be set up to only do things that are completely unnecessary and accomplish tasks the hard, time consuming way instead of the obvious, easy, and more efficient way. It really seems like management goes out of their way to make your life harder. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never work for this company again.
