Forced Overtime - Registered Nurse, BSN NaphCare Employee Review

Pros

Not many. The RNs (the people who actually deal with the patients and clean up everyone else's mess) tend to leave. The administrators, who many times have NO degree related to healthcare and/or have never truly worked healthcare and/or don't want to work with the patients anymore, well, they have it okay. The ancillary staff has it okay. But with the nurses; the ones who actually DELIVER HEALTHCARE, there is a high turnover rate.

Cons

They have decided to make the nurses work alternating 3 x 12 hour shifts one week and 4 x 12 hour shifts the next. The response from the company on Indeed.com was: "Thank you for your dedication during this extremely unprecedented time. We are all ready to be fully staffed soon. " This is not true. The company's HR has told us that the forced overtime is permanent.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention! NaphCare does not require overtime. We at times allow our staff to schedule overtime, as there are benefits for both patients and staff. Our permanent staff are encouraged, but not mandated, to work this schedule. We are happy to resolve this issue for you if you would like to return to NaphCare. Feel free to email human.resources@naphcare.com

Pros

Pay is ok, benefits are ok

Cons

Management is over bearing, the work is meaningless and pointless, the company seems to be set up to only do things that are completely unnecessary and accomplish tasks the hard, time consuming way instead of the obvious, easy, and more efficient way. It really seems like management goes out of their way to make your life harder. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never work for this company again.
