      Lots of overtime - Licensed Practical Nurse NaphCare Employee Review

      Pros

      - there are always shifts to fill - easy to have overtime - health and other benefits are offered the 1st of the next month after you start

      Cons

      - more of a skeleton crew on the weekends and nights - can be a toxic work environment between unhappy medical staff &/or unhappy sheriff deputies - I felt safe 95% time around the inmates, and if you're not comfortable you tell someone, you won't be forced to back in that pod. In the few years I've worked there, I only had one inmate who really didn't like me, so I never provided any care after that and reported that to my supervisor - they do not have competitive pay for what's out there for LPN's

      Pay, overtime availability, insurance and you learn a lot. Great experience for new grads

      Pros

      Pay is ok, benefits are ok

      Cons

      Management is over bearing, the work is meaningless and pointless, the company seems to be set up to only do things that are completely unnecessary and accomplish tasks the hard, time consuming way instead of the obvious, easy, and more efficient way. It really seems like management goes out of their way to make your life harder. If I could give zero stars, I would. I will never work for this company again.
