Pros

- Senior leadership has great reputation in the academic community - Huge emphasis on good outcomes for patients with a variety of medical conditions - Cutting edge technologies are used on a daily basis

Cons

- Middle/lower management is completely ineffective and does not care about staff level employees (lab techs, support staff) - Non-innovative work environment with no flexibility. Employee clock-in/out monitored to the minute - Lab staff are treated like children and monitored closely - Inconsistent enforcement of rules. Merit raises are completely subjective and reduced with little to no explanation or evidence - Money is spent freely to accommodate comfort of upper management. Staff often do not have the tools they need for their jobs - No advancement opportunities, No pay increases besides average annual merit raise ~2%. Employee has to provide his/her own evidence to support merit raise.
