Pros
Pro : The product is solid. Granted, it isn't differentiated now that the competitors have copied their innovation, but the product is still great. Pro : Not all of the people there are awful. Pro : If you are young in career, it's easy to get hired and/or promoted into roles you shouldn't actually be in.
Cons
Con : From the CEO down, there is a clique that is self-described as "incestuous", having worked together at former companies. When things are going well, they seem like genuinely nice people. But as many discovered, this group loves to gossip about everyone else. They engage in a level of political posturing and slander of their peers that you won't find anywhere else in the industry. Con : They pay well below market. They sell it as, "we're on a mission and we want people willing to sacrifice to join us" or , "think about the equity!!". Yeah, equity that is 100% worthless unless they ever go public (don't hold your breath).
