Pros
Very rewarding working w/ mostly first generation college Hispanic, Anglo, and Native American students. Lots of dedicated, caring scholars/instructors and supportive staff.
Cons
Top administration's priorities are budget cuts and funding rather than academic excellence and student support or educational quality. Very low pay for faculty and staff in contrast to academic productivity and grant dollars generated. Extremely low morale and high turnover of faculty.
