Bureaucratic environment with poor management. Lack of an online education platform and programs required in technology and engineering. Audit exec had no knowledge of internal auditing and lacked soft skills with subordinates. Board of Regents needs to appoint an auditor preferably with audit experience and a proper methodology to conduct audits. In addition be independent and not biased of Athletics and other departments. Work papers do not stand alone and lack consistency with reporting. Prior audit executive was demoted on account of the new audit exec. because of who the person knew. I would advise future prospects to be careful in accepting a job a with a contentious micro managing audit chief that lacks tact and strategy
