We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the clinic environment and schedule. Those are both areas we work hard to maintain for our teams. That said, we completely understand how challenging a 12-hour shift can feel, especially without a traditional lunch break.
Due to the nature of urgent care and the need to remain available for walk-in patients, we don’t schedule fixed lunch breaks. However, we do staff our clinics intentionally to allow for flexibility throughout the day. Team members are encouraged to take up to a 1-hour unpaid break when volume allows, along with two paid 10-minute breaks per shift. Our cross-trained team structure helps make that possible; MAs can rotate between front and back office roles to provide each other with time to step away.
We also provide a $25 monthly Uber Eats allowance so that on days when leaving the clinic is tough, you still have convenient options for meals delivered onsite.
