Some people are great to work with. Some very talented people that NICE is lucky to have employed. Good informal atmosphere, but could be more balanced with a professional attitude. Balance between work and personal life is ok.
Cons
Large company with the classic drawbacks: procedural up to the point that things do not make sense, hierarchical and ineffective in many areas. Combined with the extremely commercially driven culture this frequently leads to corners being cut which compromises both product quality and company reputation. Major discrepancy between what customers are told and what's being said and done internally. NICE continuously feels the need to tell the world that it's an agile, market leading and innovative company, but the reality is a bit different. The continuous failure to balance commercial and research and development goals is the most important result of that. Extremely talented people with high commitment and well argumented opinions are secondary to people with the single objective to meet their personal goal of sustaining themselves within the company or pleasing the customer on a very short term. No carreer advancements as management is not willing or able to restructure and take responsibility for weak elements in the chain. Management fails to recognize and nurture different qualities in personnel and leverage that efficiently.
