Pros

Engaging with the banking industry offers a valuable learning experience, encompassing both positive and negative aspects. Crises often arise, presenting opportunities to develop quick response skills. You will encounter a wide variety of software and applications.

Cons

Wages: The typical salary for an IT Support Specialist in Green Bay stands at $67,000 annually. However, securing a position with this company may result in earning less than $45,000 per year, which is barely sufficient to make ends meet. The IT roles have recently been categorized into Tier 1 through Tier 3. Unsurprisingly, the majority of IT employees find themselves classified as Tier 1, which is deemed "competitive" in terms of pay, despite the expectation that they will perform tasks associated with Tier 2 and Tier 3. Benefits: There is a noticeable lack of recognition for the employees who contribute significantly to the organization’s success. For instance, a simple cupcake is provided for birthdays, but there are no gift cards, half-day PTO, or any form of acknowledgment for hard work and accomplishments. Employees are also required to cover the costs of nearly all meals and services provided by the bank. Leaving: Departing from this organization on amicable terms is nearly impossible without damaging relationships. Employees are often viewed as disloyal for seeking better opportunities. Overall, the environment here raises concerns about transparency and integrity.
