Benefits are very expensive if you have children or a family. Nicolet National Bank is not well known for paying its employees well. They are underpaid compared to the same positions with its competitors. Big in nepotism; if you're from a well known family or someone whose family bring big business to the bank, it doesn't matter the level of competency, they're always hired at important senior positions. Almost no diversity. All important positions (CFO, COO, etc.) are occupied by men with no common sense. Qualified women tend to be passed over for underqualified men. Only woman in an important post is the head of HR.
