North American Health Care is a wonderful environment to work. My boss is kind, considerate, open minded, and open to progressive change. This is something atypical in our industry.

Cons

I don't have anything negative to say about the company--the workload is heavy, and the expectations are high, but that is more a credit to the quality products of the company.

The owner and upper management really stress quality care and doing what is right for the patients we serve, making it easy to stand out amongst your competition and be chosen as the rehabilitation facility for nearly every patient. Furthermore, when you perform both clinically and financially, the owner and upper management really do what they can to reward you not only financially, but with opportunities to mentor other administrators and grow yourself as you teach.

Cons

The emphasis on high quality care can drive someone insane; especially those who have never had a medical background. It can be a difficult task as a male to work with SO MANY female nurses. There are a lot of politics at play in a small company, and it is definitely felt at this one.
