Pros

Salary is competitive. Quality care is of utmost importance, and it is reflected in the 5 star quality rating that all North America buildings have, which makes you feel good about your job and the company in general. Somewhat lower turnover of staff compared to other companies. Active involvement in local communities where facilities are located.

Cons

Health, Dental, and Vision benefits are woefully inadequate for the employee, even worse if the employee has to cover a family. Employees have to submit personal health information to a "5 Star Wellness Program" or else their health insurance rates increase. Lack of transparency from management regarding pay determinations, facility/company news, and expectations.

Not being able to please everyone. This is the best company to work for.

Pros

The owner and upper management really stress quality care and doing what is right for the patients we serve, making it easy to stand out amongst your competition and be chosen as the rehabilitation facility for nearly every patient. Furthermore, when you perform both clinically and financially, the owner and upper management really do what they can to reward you not only financially, but with opportunities to mentor other administrators and grow yourself as you teach.

Cons

The emphasis on high quality care can drive someone insane; especially those who have never had a medical background. It can be a difficult task as a male to work with SO MANY female nurses. There are a lot of politics at play in a small company, and it is definitely felt at this one.
