Pros

The therapists at my location are all very highly qualified, experienced, well-educated professionals, and the whole staff is as drama-free as could be asked for. The benefits are decent and the company has it's own internal CEU's which are all free for employees (not including travel and hotels)

Cons

The pressure to keep the schedule as full as possible often leaves the aide(s) in the gym overrun with patients exercises while the treating therapists are mostly unseen as they pop from one treatment room to the next. Because of this, communication between staff isn't the greatest, and it can be quite chaotic at times. The gym is small and there are only 3 tables, so space is limited and it gets crowded FAST. There is also another NovaCare facility IN THE SAME PLAZA which causes great confusion. The secondary gym (which is rarely used) is full of broken and/or out-dated equipment, and while there is a therapy pool in the building, it's not open for use. The whole clinic suffers from very poor use of space.

Pros

They are flexible with scheduling as well as a great company when starting out, they very much help you as best they can until you can get the hang of things.

Cons

The pay can be a little low or sometimes there weren't a lot of hours, but pay in PT isn't great in outpatient overall anyways.

Pros

Great entry level job to gain experiences in administrative roles as you take on many roles at once.

Cons

Pay is not great and the only way you can get a raise is if they create a new position for you giving you more responsibilities. Felt a lot of pressure with numbers and meeting quota causing you to double book providers that caused tension. Some providers refused to give respect and call Patient Service Specialist as their position and referred to them as the front desk. Only position I had providers make me feel less than. I did not feel appreciated. When I went to management asking for employees not to use the "R" word and to refrain from talking negatively about those in the LGTBQ+ community. Very Christian based and you will be shamed if your lifestyle is different.
