Pros

Great therapists, and a large, clean facility capable of handling multiple patients at a time. Several locations in Northeast Ohio.

Cons

No support from management when requested. No communication from HR representative for this area, who is located out of state. Management tells new hires they are always available to help, then won't reply to calls or emails for days, if at all. They only care about getting the numbers up. Blatant favoritism among center managers and PSS's. So much focus on increasing daily visits and reschedule rates that actual concerns are swept under the rug. Also, upper management for this region is a husband/wife team, and one area manager has several family members employed with this region. One of these has been fired and rehired several times. Regulations and policies seem to change on a weekly basis without adequate explanation. New tasks and responsibilities are consistently added to job description, yet pay doesn't reflect changes. Turnover in this position is high, and training is very much lacking. I felt unprepared for many tasks that I hadn't been trained for. Because the turnover rate is so high, current employees are sometimes denied PTO because of lack of coverage for centers. Not much room for advancement in most positions. Advancements seem to come out of need for employees to cover turnover rates.

Pros

They are flexible with scheduling as well as a great company when starting out, they very much help you as best they can until you can get the hang of things.

Cons

The pay can be a little low or sometimes there weren't a lot of hours, but pay in PT isn't great in outpatient overall anyways.

Pros

Great entry level job to gain experiences in administrative roles as you take on many roles at once.

Cons

Pay is not great and the only way you can get a raise is if they create a new position for you giving you more responsibilities. Felt a lot of pressure with numbers and meeting quota causing you to double book providers that caused tension. Some providers refused to give respect and call Patient Service Specialist as their position and referred to them as the front desk. Only position I had providers make me feel less than. I did not feel appreciated. When I went to management asking for employees not to use the "R" word and to refrain from talking negatively about those in the LGTBQ+ community. Very Christian based and you will be shamed if your lifestyle is different.
