Pros
Nice people, PTO, good healthcare
Cons
Management knows who their poor performing employees are and yet, they move them into more relaxed roles and promote them to “seniors.” They don’t even try to confront them or put them on PIPs. They make everyone else clean up after them And that lucky person ends up working OT because they are basically doing multiple people’s jobs. Management has no idea what the roles involve to the point where some people barely have any work and others are drowning in it. Even though they are the same position. Management always says they are there to listen and make your life easier, but I don’t know a single issue they’ve actually fixed. I know multiple people are looking for new jobs, because they just want to be noticed and compensated for the knowledge they are expected to have. The department is a mess right now and everyone is complaining so happy to be working from home. And can you pay people enough to actually live in the area they work? The average commute is 45 mins. I’d love to work AND live on the sea coast.
