Pros

The company was founded to improve the lives of people suffering from brain cancer.

Cons

There is no leadership. The COO, CEO, CFO, Chairman of the Board and the rest of the senior team work together. The other recommendations paint an accurate picture of the company culture. Bullying and public humiliation is the norm, there is zero work life balance and HR is so out of touch they promote the stock options as a big benefit. The stock has lost its value since the company went public. I would not recommend this company unless you like to work in an environment where no one knows what they are doing, there is no leadership and the hours are unreasonably long. The pay isn't fair market either.

Pros

Innovative science with tremendous potential Good people for the most part Descent benefits for a private start up Company has the potential to hit a home run Growing pains are typical of a small private start up company

Cons

Hard work is not always recognized unless you're in a management position CEO is invisible to the people; comes across elitist and arrogant I agree with the comment on here about executive backbiting. Most executives behave like children and are extremely immature. Commercial officer is inappropriate and behaves like a frat boy You are expected to work around the clock and at least 55-70 hrs per week Very little equity sharing; no 401K match Humility is not a strong suit at this company

Pros

Good mission. Ok benefits/perks at first, a lot of nice people but you don't get to work with them too much or at least not closely. Free lunch in the office sometimes.

Cons

No one has any clue what is going on. Never seen project management done like this; never seen a company run like this. All of the projects change from the top while you're in the middle of working on them so nothing ever really finishes or if it does finish whatever comes out of it doesn't work. Just enough toxic people and teams to make it a pretty miserable environment for a lot of really good people who just want to do their jobs well. Constant stress and seems to be getting worse not better. The executives do not work well together or seem to have a clear direction. No idea what the CEO does. Isn't present in any of the offices from waht anyone can tell. Rest of the csuite and svps just fight with each other.
