Business Outlook
Pros
Pay is good for non-teaching staff. Holidays are excellent for non-teaching staff. Flexi working hours for roles without core hours. Ability to work from home if role is able to. Interesting education departments with UK prisons.
Cons
Too many managers. Not enough staff at ground level. Poor Shared HR and Payroll systems. Workers are not performance monitored well enough. (ALL types of managers specifically) Lack of knowledge on impact of decisions. Poor office and equipment facilities. Very poor morale with staff due to lack of care. Not enough progression opportunities, qualifications or training for non-teaching staff.
