Pros
Exceptionally good top leadership team, who live the core values of the company. Great product. Bold company. Willing to take risk and self disrupt. Reasonably good pay and perks. Top leadership is respectful of its employees.
Cons
I dont want to generalize this across the board, but there are real poor, incompetent managers and mid-tier leaders a level or two below the cream, and dirty politics downward is a little too evident for a small company that this is, and most of that politics is due to incompetency at the layer below the cream. Like I mentioned, this is not across the board. So my recommendation to you is during your hiring process spend enough time talking to your reporting manager(s), in order to gauge the lay of the land. Its a great company, but an insensitive and incompetent manager can ruin your excitement of working for a cool startup like Nutanix. And there are quite a lot of them here.
