Self motivated individuals in all departments. Intelligent employees in engineering and especially in solutions and executive roles. No fear of expanding the product in scope. Meaningful interest in the well being of employees beyond just giving them a networked step counter. Close attention to doing things right the first time. Responsible tolerance of errors and experiments to promote progress and enforce quality.
Cons
Enthusiasm sometimes results in people choosing to work longer hours than maybe they should. Not as effective at recruiting versus more capitalized startups in the Bay Area.
