Pros
They pay fair (base) salaries.
Cons
Never in my career have I worked at an organization where disfunction was so widely accepted and ignored. I can only describe my experience as a sales person, so please take it with a grain of salt. Please, please, PLEASE - if you are considering working here, think long and hard about the challenges that you are sure to face. The sales team is a revolving door. My opinion aside, consider the fact that over 30 people came and went from the sales team (JUST IN 2017 ALONE) - most of whom lasted for less than 6 months. People are constantly leaving, only to have their positions filled with individuals who are soon to be disappointed by the choice to work at ON24. Senior management has been working at ON24 for less than 2 years, which shows by their lack of product knowledge and oblivious nature when dealing with their employees. As an employee, I constantly raised my hand for help, and expressed my concerns about the lack of responsiveness, lack of tools, and lack of support that I encountered at ON24. The conversations I had were frustrating to say the least. My challenges were understood and sympathized with, but no valuable changes were ever made to address my situation (or my colleagues’ situations). If you are considering working here, know that you have a good product, but PLEASE ask the tough questions before signing on. Ask about the tenure about management, ask about the support you will receive, ask about the tenure of your teammates, ask about attrition, ask about marketing support, ask how many people truly hit their number, ask about RIFs. To me, there is nothing more frustrating than seeing talented people set up for failure. ON24 has a great product, and so much potential, so it is with a heavy heart that I had to leave and write this review, but I hope that it helps others who are considering joining the ON24 team.
