Pros
Simply can't think of any.
Cons
- Base salary for a public tech company is very low. Commission structure is unattainable unless you work in EMEA. - Stock prices started at $70 when they first IPO'd in Feb 2021. It is now at $10....if that doesn't speak volumes for where this company is headed I'm not sure what does. - Work culture is very clique-y. A lot of side chats where managers and other sales employees talk poorly about their co-workers all day long. - New management is creating a very toxic work environment. There is a huge communication barrier between Account Executives and SDRs. Sales leaders push down our throats that we are one big segment and then act like children who can't communicate with each other, thus creating a divide. AEs and SDRs can't work as a team when their leaders can't communicate properly. - C suite tells the company they care about internal growth. They interview internal employee's so they don't sound like hypocrites and then all positions are filled externally. - They have outdated sales practices and blame poor quota numbers on dials and not their outbound strategy. They have an entire sales operations team that is supposed to update and maintain messaging and sales practices. Those employee's are listed as "away" on teams all day. No new messaging is ever sent out and you get in trouble if you don't use the outdated messaging with tons of grammatical errors. That entire department is a joke. - They put no money into other tech that could help their sales team and then preach about how other companies need our tech to help their sales team. If your own sales team can't leverage your platform, how do you expect other companies to use it? - This platform is extremely overpriced for what it actually does. Most opportunities don't make it out of discovery because of the price and then SDR's are ridiculed because they "didn't qualify correctly" when the real problem is that no one wants to buy your product that 10 other companies can provide for a third of the price. - If you are missing a paycheck or your pay is not correct, good luck trying to get in touch with payroll. They will ghost you. Your managers and VPs will also ghost you. Your managers will then go on "business retreats" and spend hundreds of thousands of dollars on fancy dinners and first class flights and you're still sitting there missing out on a $1500 paycheck. - Meetings that SDRs set have to be passed to the correct segment. If it is not for their AE they do not get credit for the meeting. MULTIPLE managers have told their SDRs to say nothing and keep the meeting for themselves. Extremely poor management ethics. These people should not have positions of power.
