Pros
The scope of my role goes far beyond the remit of an Agile Coach in most companies. I do get the chance to work with individuals and teams to help them make real, sustainable improvement, but there's also a focus on change across departments, and Ocado Tech as a whole (I've often found my ability to help/influence limited to a few teams, achieving local but not systemic awesomeness. It's different here). We have real buy-in from senior management. I have a high level of autonomy and there's a lot of trust amongst my colleagues Really happy about the focus on experimentation, "failing well" and taking data-driven decisions I get to work with lots of really talented people, working on some really clever things I joined the company following maternity leave and was able to agree a part time post - Ocado Tech couldn't have been more flexible or supportive, it's a great place to work if you have dependents, the benefits are pretty good, and I have a good work/life balance
Cons
There's so much to get involved with, managing my work in progress is a constant task We're great at starting initiatives, but not so good at finishing things - we're working really hard to get better at this I come from near Cambridge, it often takes 2 hrs each way. My choice, but meh.
