The management is total shambles - most managers have no idea what are they doing not the understanding of their subordinates are responsible for (or the work loads or anything of this sort). The ever changing structure gives rise to people who are totally out of their element and trying to mask their inability to lead with superfluous activity loading it on the already overloaded engineers.
There is a very limited amount of training.
Inside the network team there is no path for promotion - once you're in a position that is it - the only option is to move teams but there is not much to chose from if you want to stay in networking.
