Pros
I've been at Ocean Tomo almost my entire professional career. After interviewing, I remember thinking two things: 1) I really liked the folks I met with - they seemed like good, smart, down to earth people and 2) working in a consulting area involving aspects of technology/law/business/finance seemed very interesting. Luckily, my initial thoughts were right. And that is why I've stuck around so long. I really like the people and most of the time, I really like the work. And, if you are willing to put in the work, the compensation is pretty good too. [Also, I noticed the review page says Andrew Carter is the CEO. He is actually the #2 guy. Jim Malackowski is the CEO. I give Jim a thumbs up too. He is a natural leader]
Cons
- Can be longer hours sometimes. When projects are due, they are due. But management recognizes this. So, they give a ton of flexibility and recognize the need for downtime if you have been particularly busy.
