Office Depot is a great place to work. I've been with the company for 11 years and have seen it's evolution from being fragmented with multiple brand flags, no organized strategy globally and systems that picked up from previous acquisitions. Today this company is connected and synchronized, global in scope and strategy and we carry one brand flag - Office Depot. We have both the ability and the will to win, possess the talent to build a solid strategy and are currently building momentum to grow and take market share.
Cons
Where we still have work to do is solid, deliberate execution. Whether that execution is a marketing campaign that competes and attracts attention back to the brand or the decisions needed to move forward, executives have been guilty of second guessing. We need to unify our strategic thinking and have the balls and the brains to go after the jugular of our competitors.
