Pros
Good benefits, good name recognition, great camaraderie with teammates. Work from home long before the pandemic.
Cons
Since the company made the Business Division a priority over the retail (store) division, there has been a complete culture change in a negative way. The pandemic only made it worse. It used to be a fun place to work with the freedom to run your territory your way as long as you were successful. Now there is serious micromanaging, unachievable goals, lower bonus pay outs (if you’re the few who earn one), zero appreciation or positive recognition. Experienced, outside sales people are mandated to be telemarketers during set days and hours every week. Additionally, good, tenured employees, were put on PIP’s during the pandemic for not making goal, when customers weren’t in the office. Layoffs and changing of territories are a regular thing now, leaving the customers with a new rep just about every year. Customer service has gone by the wayside, outsourcing the team, along with the drivers and the collectors. Bottom line, they don’t care about the employees or the customers anymore. There’s no room for advancement since they like to bring management in from the outside. Once the company splits the retail division next year, and sells out to Staples, they’ll be nothing left of the business division unless they make some serious changes to upgrade the morale and keep good employees from leaving in droves.
