Pros

Very flexible with requests off. Somewhat a fun job when you don't deal with ungrateful customers. Always something to do. And 3 departments you can work in front end/copy and print, technology sales, logistics.

Cons

-No room for growth. You basically have to wait for whoever is in front of you to leave to get into management. Even then you get passed over for the promotion and they hire outsiders that know nothing of company processes, and policy and put them in charge of you. This has happened to me countless times. -Not always busy which makes the time go by slower. -Ungrateful customers that just want a discount for no particular reason. -Shoplifters everywhere even some employees. Not authorized to stop shoplifters even though we know they stole merchandise. Drug addicts come in all the time to do fraudulent returns. -The way they do commission is dumb. Before you used to get a good chunk of change. Now its changed to why even bother trying to get commission. -I am supposed to be full time getting 40 hours. I keep getting short changed only getting 37 or 38 hours. -Pay is peanuts.

Pros

There are no pros to working for this company.

Cons

Low pay, grueling hours, unsafe and toxic work environment. The company does not offer opportunities for its sore employees to advance to the corporate sector; especially if you have a college degree. As a store employee neither you, your expertise and skill set, nor your ideas on how to improve workflow and company culture matter.
